Naoussa: harbour and Venetian castle

The most photographed harbour on Paros, with fishing boats, tavernas and the castle ruin.

Naoussa in the north is a traditional fishing village that has become the island’s most cosmopolitan spot.

The ruins of the Venetian castle stand at the harbour entrance. The lanes behind the harbour are full of small shops and tavernas.

Small boats leave from here for Kolymbithres and Monastiri beach.
